The Manager Development Program
A ten-module leadership path built to sharpen the reflexes managers need to face daily operational challenges, seize opportunities for improvement, and help their teams consistently reach the results the organization expects.
What This Program Aims to Deliver
Management today is rarely about having every answer. It is about building the instincts that let a manager read a situation quickly, respond with the right tool, and bring a team along. Our program was designed around two very practical outcomes.
Build the manager’s reflexes
Every module trains a specific reflex — a way of thinking and acting that a manager can call on under pressure — so that recurring challenges stop feeling like emergencies and start feeling like familiar terrain.
Make daily work lighter
A manager who works with clearer structure frees capacity for the team. The program is built to simplify the manager’s day-to-day so the whole team can reach the results the business is counting on.
Ten Development Modules, Four Themes
Each module targets a distinct capability. Together they move a manager from personal effectiveness, to team leadership, to measurable results, to leading change — a complete arc for anyone responsible for a team’s performance.
The Manager as a Member of the Management Team
Understanding how individual decisions connect to the broader management team, and learning to contribute as a partner in the organization’s direction rather than as an isolated supervisor.
Focus: Targeting Priorities & Improving Personal Effectiveness
Practical methods for sorting the urgent from the important, protecting time for what actually moves results, and building a personal system that holds up on a busy day.
Leadership: Influencing the Team and Peers
Moving from authority to influence — the skills that let a manager gain genuine buy-in from direct reports and colleagues alike, even without formal power over them.
Communication: Understanding Interpersonal Dynamics
A closer look at how relationships actually function inside a team, and how a manager can read tension, adapt their communication style, and keep collaboration healthy.
Point of Control: Structuring and Measuring the Department
Setting up the structure and the metrics that let a manager see, at a glance, whether the department is actually operating the way it should.
Team Performance: Building on Strengths, Seizing Development Opportunities
A practical approach to recognizing what each team member does well, and turning gaps into targeted, achievable development plans instead of vague feedback.
Problem Solving: Analyze — React — Act & Prevent
A structured method for tackling problems at their root rather than only treating symptoms, moving from analysis to action to prevention of recurrence.
Continuous Improvement: Building a Process, Changing Perspective
Introducing a repeatable improvement process and the mindset shift required to keep raising the bar instead of settling for “good enough.”
Our Future: Structuring and Measuring the Department’s Progress
Setting a clear direction for where the department is heading, with the indicators needed to track real progress against that vision.
Change Management: Supporting Evolution Within the Team
Practical tools for leading a team through change with less resistance and more ownership, so evolution becomes something the team drives rather than endures.
Choose the Format That Fits Your Organization
The program can be delivered in two ways, depending on whether you are enrolling as an individual manager or building a cohort across your company.
A. Public Session
Two sessions begin in September, held in Québec City and Montréal. Ideal for managers who want to join a mixed group from different organizations, compare notes with peers across industries, and start the program on a fixed calendar.
B. In-Company Program
A tailor-made version of the program delivered inside your organization, adapted to your sector, your vocabulary, and the specific challenges your management team is facing. Ideal for building a shared leadership language across an entire cohort at once.
A Results-Focused Methodology, Delivered by Experienced Advisors
Every module is designed around application rather than theory alone. Participants leave each session with tools they can use the same week — not simply concepts to remember. The program is led by seasoned training advisors who bring real management experience into the room, not only academic frameworks. That practical grounding is what makes the reflexes taught in each module stick once participants are back at their desks, facing the same pressures the program was built to prepare them for.
Because the ten modules build on one another, managers progress along a clear arc: from personal effectiveness, to leading their team, to owning department results, to steering change. Organizations that enroll a full cohort often see the shared vocabulary become part of how their management team communicates long after the last session ends.
